Instructor, JPPilates
Maeve Barrett
Instructor, JPPilatesMaeve first discovered Pilates as a young dancer at a Boston Ballet summer intensive, and she fell in love right away. The focus on control, alignment, and breath gave her a new way to connect with her body, and that feeling stayed with her long after the summer ended. In college she traded her mat for high-intensity cardio and heavy weight training. Eventually those workouts stopped serving her. She felt drained instead of energized. Coming back to Pilates reconnected her with the strength and energy she’d been missing, and she’s been committed to it ever since.
Maeve is Mat Pilates Certified through Pilates Academy International. Her goal is for everyone to leave her classes feeling longer, stronger, and energized from the inside out. Whether you’re brand new to Pilates or returning to it like she did, Maeve would love to help you find that same connection.
Instructor, JPPilatesVanessa Reimer
