Fall Happenings
Happy September! I don’t know about you but for me, fall has rushed in rather rudely, knocking over all order and balance in my life. I’ve been waking up not knowing what day it is and in a frenzy to establish new order and routine for both myself and my family. More about all of that later though. Considering that I can’t keep track of all of my upcoming happenings there’s no way you can either, so I’ve complied some highlights below. This is as much for me as it is for you. Ha! There’s so much to look forward to and I hope to see many of you soon!
Outdoor Classes in Charlestown
What a summer it has been! This is my second year leading JPP classes at the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown. We’ve had so many sunny, beautiful workouts together and they aren’t ending anytime soon. My outdoor classes will be running through October or until it starts to get too cold. I keep the schedule updated online so you can always check what’s going on. I also post weather updates, reminders and news of pop ups over on my Instagram feed and story, so make sure to follow that as well. So what type of classes do I offer and will continue to happen:
JPPilates Stroller Bootcamp: Weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:30-11:15am. All you need to bring is your stroller, mat and kid(s). Please wear sneakers. Some Moms have been coming with two kids- which is totally AMAZING! Babies, toddlers, teens - anyone is welcome to join! Sign up here.
Pilates Flow: Weekly on Thursdays from 6:00-6:45am. Bring your own mat. This mat Pilates (and sometimes Barre) workout is for all levels and a perfect way to start the day and wind down the week. Is it hard to get up that early? Yep. Is it worth it? Absolutely. Watching the sun rise and breathing in that fresh air feels SO good. Plus if you want to bring a friend for free, you can! Just email me their info and you’ll be all set. Sign up here.
Family Stroller Bootcamp: Sunday, September 23rd from 9:15-10:00am. Why not get the whole family exercising together? This pop up class was a big hit so I’m bringing it back! Dads, partners or besties come for free! Bring your own mat and wear sneakers! Sign up here.

This section deserves it very own blog post (in fact I’ve written about this before) and I do plan to write more in depth about why this training is so, so, so special. This is the THIRD training Meagan and I have led at NEY and I can honestly say it’s been the experience of a lifetime. We already have a great group signed up to join us but we still have some spots left. If you’ve ever thought about teaching or wanting to take things to the next level, please let me know. I can answer any questions you have. All the details about our teacher training are up on the NEY website. Check it out and reach out if you’re thinking about doing it. I’d love to talk to you anytime. Don’t wait… the training sold out the last two times! PS: Added bonus to this training is your very own mini photo shoot with the incredible Lucie Wicker Photography at the conclusion of the weekend, with Meagan and I there to help direct. Woo hoo! You’ll walk out the door on the last day with a wealth of information, renewed direction and energy, confidence, new friends, a support system, a strong vision, a certification AND professional pictures. Amazing, I know!
And there you have it! In addition to my weekly classes, there’s a lot happening this fall! And clearly a lot with my girl Meagan (love ya). The recap list is below if you want the short and sweet. Andddd I’ve got so many blogs in the queue for you. Now that Grayson is in school full time I have some more time on my hands as long as Max keeps his nap schedule. What do you want to read about? More fitness stuff? More family stuff? How we got into a Boston Public School K1 class?! HA - laughing on that last one! Let me know by leaving a comment on my IG please! Cheers to a great fall! xoxo JPP
